We are currently taking a break from hosting an American Hanoverian Society inspection and Mare Performance Test, but we remain available to prepare your mare for presentation in hand and under saddle.  Rideability scores of 8.0 or higher have been awarded to the last five mares our trainer Susan Hopkins has prepared for the MPT!

Each May we sponsor a horsemanship clinic with Greg Eliel, a gifted horseman and perceptive instructor who is dedicated to creating a better partnership between horses and their riders. Participation in Greg’s clinic is limited to two groups of 12 horses and riders so that everyone receives individual attention. Greg welcomes riders of all disciplines and strives to increase riders’ sensitivity (feel), improve the timing of their aids and help them build a better connection with their horse.

Every other fall we host legendary horseman and author Buck Brannaman for a four-day young horse starting and horsemanship clinic. Buck is featured in The Three Masters video with George Morris and Rodney Jenkins. His compassion and sensitivity to the horse, combined with a lifetime of experience figuring out how horses think and learn, have given Buck a remarkable ability to transform every horse he encounters. What a privilege it is to observe Buck work with a horse. He will be back at Sullivan Farm in the fall of 2010.

On-site stabling for both clinics is available on a first-come, first-served basis. For additional information, contact Susan Hopkins at 336-376-8250 or email carrollsbm@aol.com.
